Shipping & returns

The short version.

We ship within the United States from Ohio. Flat $5 shipping. Books usually arrive within a week. If something goes wrong, write to us — we’re a small press and we’ll make it right.

Where we ship

United States only, for now. We don’t ship internationally yet.

Cost

A flat $5 per order, regardless of how many books you buy.

Processing

Orders ship from Ohio within two business days, via a tracked carrier. You’ll get a tracking number by email the day it leaves us.

Delivery

Books usually arrive within a week of shipping. We don’t promise a specific day — carriers do what carriers do — but if it’s been more than two weeks and nothing has shown up, write to us.

Damaged in transit

If a book arrives damaged, send us a photo at info@starbornpress.com within 30 days. We’ll ship a replacement at no cost — no need to return the damaged copy.

Returns

Unread, unmarked books can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the book price. Email us first and we’ll send return instructions.

For defective books, we cover return shipping. For change-of-mind returns, the buyer covers return shipping. Refunds go back to the original payment method within five business days of us receiving the book.

Ebooks & audiobooks

Not available yet — we’re working on both editions. When they ship, digital orders will be non-refundable once the file has been delivered or the audiobook downloaded.

Wrong address

Double-check the shipping address before you check out. We can’t reroute a package once it’s with the carrier. Reshipping a returned-to-sender package costs another $5.
